Artist statement for Collage
My theme was distress vs tragedy because the reason I choose this theme, in everyday life we see distress faces and tragedy keeps occuring. Recently war has been happening around the world and it's tragedy to see love ones miss their love ones for fighting for their homeland and providing peace all around the world. When tragedy happens, distressed faces comes along, knowing the worlds nature can't be control by the hands of men. Earthquakes and hurricanes, can't be control and just to ponder the damages the nature has done. In no matter what conditions we are facing right now, there will be always distress and tragedy happening in every second of are moment.
